My name is Tyler Torwick, captain here at Torwick’s Guiding Service. I grew up on the west coast in San Diego and have been fishing my entire life. I started out begging my mom or grandparents to drive me to the local lake so I could fish from shore. Eventually I was given a float tube for my birthday and that’s where bass fishing really took off for me. Since then I have taken my fishing to a higher level. I fished in college and was the president of the Baylor University bass fishing team for a couple of years. I got the chance to fish some of the best fisheries in the country through the FLW college tour. I now live in Austin, TX and guide full time on Lake Travis, Lake LBJ, and Lake Decker. My specialties include offshore fishing with electronics, marina fishing, and according to some of my friends “The Dropshot Master”.
Favorite Lure: Jig
Species: Largemouth Bass
Bass Fishing on Lake Travis This Week: The bite on Travis has been good despite the heat! Either get up early and get out while its cooler, or fish deep once it gets hot!
