Bass Fishing on Lake Caddo This Week: Scouting report Nov. 7th: This week scouting report, you're starting to see it up for the fall time. And so we're starting to throw a lot more moving baits like chatter baits, swimbaits, some topwater, throwing flukes and some rigs, I'm starting to do that in areas and some deeper diving crankbaits where there is river cuts and things like that but fish are starting to move around to feed. With it starting to get colder and the water's definitely getting colder and we're supposed to have another cold front this next week and it is supposed to get pretty cold. So that usually will tighten the fish up and get them to feed. The cold water temperatures are definitely going to keep them feeling dead. The lake is in good shape. It's still about a foot low, water temperature is running anywhere right now from 57 to 62 and falling. We're supposed to get some rain the next day or so. So just keep an eye open for schools and keep working around and work your vegetation and work that area over real hard because the fish are starting to group up.
